Really cool photography of abandoned offices.
I bet most of you are pretty tired Monday mornings. I know I am. I participated in a 48 hour film contest over the weekend, called the Port Moody Quick Flick Challenge, put on by Arts Connect. It was quite fun, and I will have a link to a web version soon. Here’s some videos of before the filming started.
Jason is Paul’s older brother, and he has a photoblog. He has some really cool shots, and by chance he also has a pretty rad camera.
Last but not least, here’s a cool green link – for people with kids! Called Green with Whimsy
On Saturday, I went over to Paul’s house and picked him and his brother Jason up. We went to the mall where I caved and bought a Canon SD1000! Yeah, it’s the same as Paul’s and Greg’s, but mine is in silver so I can tell the difference. What can I say, they make good choices!
We went back to my house where we took some shots for threadless. You see, if you upload a picture of yourself wearing one of their shirts, you get street team points. One point is worth $1.50.
Here’s my favorite shot. I had the idea, and Jason did an excellent job on the photo. This was staged on my driveway which slopes up, and we set up a tall ladder at the bottom, where it is flat. He was up on the ladder, and Paul had the remote flash, which he pointed onto a reflector towards me. I think it’s a rad shot!
This is easily one of my favorite designs from threadless. I have a t-shirt and a hoodie. You can see here that I’m pulling out a revolver!
Then we took our 34 threadless shirts and laid them on the floor for one of our final shots. There are a few more shots, some will be posted a little later (I forgot my card reader!!!) and some are available on Paul’s new blog!

Check out this really cool video of Ryan Leech doing a side hop at over 1000 frames a second!

nice photo featured on earthshots
Wow, it has been quite the active day. There’s a lot of really cool stuff on the web today. Today is a perfect example of how broad the internet is. I don’t think I would have ever come across these things without it. The internet is quite an amazing thing, I’m just happy that my job is dependant on the internet. It’s too bad the internet isn’t dependant on me.
Here’s a cool photographer’s website with some of his work.
