I am more of a tea person, partly because I don’t drink coffee. I have just never really liked the taste of coffee. And I like to appreciate things for what they are,  so I’m not about to be one of those people who like coffee with their cream and sugar. So, I drink green tea most of the time. I found this teapot on Josh Spear, which has a great site for cool designerly things. I would love to buy one of these teapots, but I think it would feel out of place, unless I buy a chique new loft in yaletown.

It’s true I like unique t-shirts. But threadless doesn’t seem unique enough lately. There are so many people that know of it now! But that’s cool, and it’s up to me to continue spreading the word! So here are two links that I think I will be buying from soon.

I bet most of you are pretty tired Monday mornings. I know I am. I participated in a 48 hour film contest over the weekend, called the Port Moody Quick Flick Challenge, put on by Arts Connect. It was quite fun, and I will have a link to a web version soon. Here’s some videos of before the filming started.

 Yes I know this is one of the most hated / loved celebrations of the year. But I don’t really mind it. The past couple of years I have been unlucky and not had a valentines date, but that didn’t seem to phase me. In the past couple of weeks I have found someone, and she is wicked. Jamie decided to make a little fun with me, and draw on our white board, but Trish fixed it with adding all of our names.

Whoo! Monday morning! I’m super tired – I went to Paul’s last night to watch Sunshine. Good movie, more than I expected! Found this sweet phone – the batman inside me wants one.

If you are interested in the internet, you would’ve seen that Yahoo! said no to Microsoft. It sure does undervalue the brand. Go create your own ideas Microsoft.

It really doesn’t help that I’m dutch, but my dad got me hooked on good beer at a young age, and kinda always had some Heineken in the fridge. After growing up on this liquid gold it has easily become my favorite beer. So when I found this gem, I became giddy.

Here’s another for my closet, who seems to really love me these days. Fresh new shirts – almost every two weeks! This time I bought a hoodie! (and a tee….) So when I first signed up to threadless last year, I surfed through all their old designs and came across this beauty:

As soon as I saw it I remembered all the good times I had playing clue with friends at home and school. I clicked the little button that said ‘reprint me?’ and so when it was reprinted two weeks ago, I got a notification and bought one right away! I’ve been wearing the hoodie for two days, and people love it!
